The Atlanta Center is seeking an:

Event Specialist/Social Media Coordinator


Job Description:
-Reports to the Event Coordinator with secondary reports to the Deputy Air Traffic Manager & Air Traffic Manager, respectively
-Manages The Atlanta Center Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & Twitch Social Media Accounts &/or Pages
-Acts as a liaison to the VATSIM Community through Social Media via approved communication
-Attends the majority of ZTL Events
-Checks and replies to emails frequently
-Willingness to transfer to ZTL (The Atlanta Center) if accepted
-Performs additional duties as assigned by the EC, DATM, &/or ATM

Minimum Requirements:
-Must be an active member of the VATSIM.net network in good standing with no recent disciplinary action
-Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
-Must be able to cooperate in a team environment
-Must hold rating of S2 or higher
-Knowledge of VATSIM Network ATC system, regulations and policies
-Display a high level of professionalism and represent The Atlanta Center in a positive way at all times

Desired Qualifications:
-Previous experience as an ARTCC junior/support staff member
-Previous VATSIM/Real-world management experience
-Possess a high degree of commitment and motivation
-Be able to satisfy the time required for the job
-Previous Experience with Hootsuite, Facebook Pages, Twitter, & Twitch Streaming.
-Experience working with Photoshop & Illustrator, GIMP, or similar illustrating & photo editing software

Initial Projects:

-Develop Page Posting Plan for Facebook Page and implement for daily/bi-daily posts 90+ days out

-Develop Twitch Template for The Atlanta Center users to use while streaming on twitch
